For the past year I’ve been wanting to get my cartilage pierced and I’ve also thought about getting an industrial piercing. I have two ear piercings as of right now but am kind of nervous to get my cartilage pierced because of the pain and the possibility of it getting infected. I’ve heard of both people who take care of their piercings and people who don’t that get painful infections or weird healing issues that make me steer away from them. I am also 17 and live in South Carolina, so I’m not sure if I’d have to have a waiver signed or a parent with me to get it done. Any tips, ideas, or helpful information would help a lot! Also let me know which you would prefer, industrial or cartilage? Does one hurt more or are they about the same? What is the pain similar to? Sorry for all the questions but I want to know as much as I can before making the decision.
