Ultrasound?

I just found out im pregnant (4w 5d)
Is it just me or is it a little weird when people post pictures of the baby's ultrasound where they found out the gender. Like when you can see the genitals? Im meaning no disrespect because that's definitely a parents call but I just don't think I want everyone to see my baby down there. Obviously it shouldn't be sexualized or anything, I just feel it's very personal. To each their own of course. I mean no disrespect but does anyone else agree?

I mean, an ultrasound picture is totally different as most people who've never been pregnant, especially males, have a pretty hard time distinguishing what they are even looking at lol.  Now, when my child is born, I wouldn't post images of his genitals. Clearly, you can see the difference.

Even with arrows and circles around the genitals I can't tell what I'm looking at... The only thing I can tell in ultrasounds is babies head.

I didn't put my ultrasound picture on social media because I think it's weird for other people to see. I mean, that's inside of me. Haha!!

It's not a baby out in the world .. It's not like u took a picture of their genitals and posted..it's an ultrasound wth is wrong with it? Idk ..I don't find it weird..it's a picture

I feel the same way.  I only show ultrasound images that show there business to immediate family that ask

I think a lot people do it for reassurance that others see the boy/girl parts they are told at the dr. There are too many stories of techs saying one sex and it's actually the opposite. I know that was my reason. 😄
