I just got my beta hCG levels checked. I am 5 weeks and 3 days. My levels were 14,299. Could this mean twins?

HCG levels have nothing to do with twins! At 6 weeks my levels were over 80k. I thought the same thing because my mom is a twin. Just one baby in there.

At 5 weeks mine were only 7000 with twins but I’ve seen plenty of women on this app with levels of 30,000 and only one baby. It isn’t really indicative of how many babies you’re having. There’s always a chance of twins, but there’s no way to know until you have an ultrasound.
