I'm dependant, head strong, outspoken, and refuse to live by their religious expectations.... I'm not the favorite. Lol! But after years of stating my case they have come to accept that this is me and they can't change me.

Yep. Me with dad my bro with mom. It was painfully obvious all my life and still it. I only have one child so I pray I won't be like that.

I agree with Christy. It might not necessarily be "favorite" as in they love one more, but they get along better with some or some they have a bigger soft spot for.

My oldest sister is daddy's girl and can do no wrong in his eyes but she lives in another state so not much contact.

My oldest brother is my dad's pride and joy. Only boy and, hello, sports! My mom loovveess her baby boy. Even though they don't see him as much because he doesn't visit them often. They gave him all they could, but at 18 my mom said alright, get a job and support yourself. Tough love.

Me. I'm the one my parents get along with. Growing up I was a bit difficult because I was very independent and headstrong. I knew what I wanted and I went for it. Now that I'm older, they are characteristics they have come to appreciate because they know I'm consistent and reliable and always turn to me first.

Baby sister. Well, she's no baby anymore they just haven't realized it. She has a baby of her own, and her and her bf live off what both sides of the family can give them. My mom says BUT SHE'S MY BABY! Don't see any tough love coming her way.

So I think we all think the other one is the favorite lol

My mothers favorite was my little brother. My daddy's favorite was my older brother. My older cousins and aunts and uncles and grandparents got to split which of us were their favorite.

I don't think they necessarily have a favorite child. I think they may have a child that they relate to or have closer personalities....
