What to expect with IVF Meds

How Moody will I get? Will I feel like I want to kill my husband? J/K

I didn't feel much of anything! I was lucky. But the progesterone is a different story... 😭

I started Injections 9-18 I'll tell you what I experienced. 
9-18/9-23 I was taking 150 units of follistim twice a day. I was moody. I cried over a taco that had too much sour cream on it. I got agitated. 
9-24/9-27 I added ganirelix on top of the follistim (up to 3 injections daily) 
The ganirelix made me very nauseated. Started taking zofran dissolvable tablets. 
9-28 stopped taking follistim, took one dose of ganirelix, and took Lupron trigger shots- this day I finally felt like myself- no nausea- felt good. 
Today I had my egg retrieval. I feel like Jillian Michaels put me through her abdominal boot camp filled with crunches and core workouts.

Once you start injections it goes by quick. 
I didn't feel like killing my husband just a lot of crying on a dime.

It's all worth it. Tomorrow I will see if any of our eggs fertilized!

I had really bad headaches and migraines but no moodiness. I was on Gonal F, Lupron, and menopor.

My IVF meds were way better than Clomid. I took Gonal F and Ganirelix during the stim phase. No moods swings at all. The only thing I remember is being very bloated and uncomfortable for several days before and after retrieval (I hyperstimulated and had other symptoms from the OHSS but none really from my meds).

I felt pretty good with most meds. On gonal F, orgulatran and pregesterone suppositories.  Super tired with the progesterone.  I had to have a couple of canceled cycles. I responded to well with the meds. My e2 levels were through  the roof. Even then I felt not too bad a little hyperactive and racing heart. I had too many mature eggs. My clinic does 10 eggs maximum. I ended up with 8 mature eggs this round. Best of luck. ☺

I didn't get moody at all, a tad more weepy than normal like crying during commercials etc. I was on Estrace (pills) My injectables were Follistim, Ganerelix, low dose HCG and my trigger was Ovidrel. The injections were a lot easier than I thought they would be and hubby was a chicken so I did them myself! Lots of luck!

I had heard horror stories, and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't have any symptoms, except for minor pelvic discomfort right before egg collection (but I had 42 follicles!).
