Can birth control pills still give me problems when I’ve been taking them for about a year or less?

I started taking loestrin then switched to junel fe. I’ve probably been on it for over 6 months to a year. When I first switched I had a vertigo episode, still don’t know why. Sometimes I get nauseous & bad headaches. Lately I’ve been getting lightheaded quite a lot. I can barely sleep because of it. I’m only 17 & I can’t really go to the doctor because it’s the weekend. Could it be my pills??
