What day is first day?

Am on my 3rd round of clomid ( just got my period today 😥) my question is .. From when do you count the first day of your period? From the moment you begin to spot a bit or from when full on bleeding? Just want to make sure I am taking it on the correct day.. Am so frustrated and depressed ..

My doctor always said day one is your first full flow not spotting when taking clomid

My doc said first day of bright red flow. I start spotting typically in the afternoon/evening then wake up and have my period and that's day 1.

I am also on my third round of clomid :( don't think clomid is going to be the answer for me either ... But there's plenty more options xxx

My doctor has always told me even spotting right around your period day you should start counting.
