Baby shower for 2nd child?

I’m having my second boy and unsure if we should do another baby shower. They’re 3 years apart and we’ve given away all of our infant gear at this point. Help please!

No for me baby showers are for first time parents so that those with experience give them things/advice that they found to be helpful when raising their children. I don’t see baby showers as gift parties where other people are responsible for providing necessities for children you chose to have. My opinion

I will be having a shower for my second, but my son is 16 years old! So I’m definitely starting all over and I’m having a girl this time. When the children are closer in age, I might would do a sprinkle. But plenty of moms have a shower for each child I think whatever makes you happy, you should do.

Some people have showers for all their kids some dont I'm pregnant with my third and i gave a lot of baby stuff away to a family member on my brother in laws side because she was young and unprepared for a baby but i don't think I'll do a shower this time I'll just spend my pregnancy buying a few things every month and I'll have what i need again

I don't think it's that uncommon to have a baby shower for multiple children now days,that's kind of a dated tradition. My kids are 6 years apart and different genders,they both had showers,if I had a third I probably wouldn't have one unless someone wanted to throw one.

We didn't have one for our second daughter, but we saved a lot of the stuff from our first. So we really didn't need much besides diapers!!

I’m having my 2nd girl and had previously given most of my stuff to a young single mom friend -  a lady from my church threw me a baby shower and I felt so loved! I don’t think I would have thrown one for myself though. If someone offers, don’t turn it down! Celebrating a new little human is always good in my book 😊❤️

It is up to you.  Why not celebrate with all your friends? If they dont agree with it...then they don't have to come.  People that are there are ones that supports you.
