Do you think it’s weird for a girl to propose to a guy?

Just asking because I told my boyfriend I’d propose if he took to long and he joking responded saying he’d say no and then propose to me

In May of 2015 I was seven months pregnant with our first and we went to his mother’s house for mother’s day and we went to the park besides her house where we met for the first time and I jokingly said “we first met here, had our first kiss here, wouldn’t it be fun if we got engaged here as well” and he laughed and said “are you asking me to marry you?” and I said “Maybe I am?” and then he kissed me and that was that... two and a half months later on the day I gave birth when we were alone all three of us he pulled up a ring and said “Yes, Yes I will marry you.”

It’s not weird but some guys would feel really bad not having that moment. I joked about it with my now husband and he was clearly unhappy at the idea. He’d been planning a proposal and the ring and didn’t want that ruined due to my impatience.

I don't think it's weird but most guys wanna be the ones to do it. So they'd probably feel like cheated an less of a man if their gf proposed to them! Instead of the other way around!

I personally didn't do it but everyone is different. I have talked with some guys and most said they're not a fan of it because they have always pictured how they would propose one day
