Did your pet act differently when you became pregnant?

We have a large dog and two cats, and I'm a little shy of five weeks along with our first.

The dog has always been affectionate and protective of me, and is mostly acting normal but I've noticed that she has been occasionally leaving a toy near me. 😊

One cat is neutered and has been with us fifteen years and is as generally affectionate as ever, sometimes laying on my chest but usually sleeping somewhere. He's ancient. 😂

The other cat is around ten and not neutered so I wonder if he may be more aware of my hormones because of that. He has been all over me lately, and really persistent about being on my lap. A couple nights ago while poor Daddy-to-be napped off some stress (I swear I can hear his hair going grey, the poor guy 😂), the cat was on the arm of the couch and still reaching for me. (Trying to get it to let me post the pic, but I can't get it to load my camera... he was like a cat bridge between the couch and loveseat. 😂)
