Owlet?

Question

Thoughts on the owlet sock? I’ll be a FTM and I’m so nervous in general. I’ve also worked in childcare and stress so much over other people’s kids, I can only imagine my own! Although I have heard of the sock slipping off, causing false alarms, and thermal burns.

We got one, helps us sleep at night. We aren't budging to his every sound making sure he's okay.

I did not buy one but I think it would have helped me sleep better. The first month I spent not sleeping, not because of my baby but because I was so worried he’d stop breathing cause the dang nurse drilled sids into my head before leaving and freaked me out. He’s almost one and Zero issues but I could have gained my sanity back that first month or so if I bought it.

I have used one when my first was born and it definitely gave me peace of mind. It was helpful. Just make sure they can’t kick it off or the alarm will go off every time because it doesn’t detect the heartbeat anymore 😂 but all in all, great purchase.

Never have had a thermal burn, never have gotten a placement issue alarm, never have gotten a false alarm. She’s 14 almost 15e now couldn’t live without mine. We only use it for bed time and not for naps. 
We have had 3 red alarms for oxygen, two were when we first brought her home and she wasn’t breathing while she ate and we got another one when her reflux was really acting up and she was trying to swallow it back down, we immediately picked her up and started patting her back. 
0 regrets with mine, we take it everywhere (we travel most weekends)
