Anyone have experience with beagles and babies?

We are expecting our first baby, and we have a beagle who is very spoiled! I think he will be great with her, but wondering if anyone has any experience with beagles and new babies! Thanks! 💗🐶

Our first little one isn't here yet, but we've got four dogs (two of which are beagles). They all love kids and babies, but we've definitely got boundaries in our house. The dogs are only allowed in the main living spaces. I think this will be a big help for when our baby is here. Good luck with your new baby and your adorable beagle!

With my first the nurse asked me I had a dog or cat at home and put a hat that was on the baby in a ziplock bag and gave it to my mother in law to take home and give to our dog. So that the dog could get use to the new smell. We have a miniature pinscher 
  When we got home. We put the baby in her swing and when my Mother in law brought the dog home we let him greet me and husband first. He smelled around the swing but it wasn’t until the next day that we let him smell her feet.

I have a beagle girl that is 3 and this is our first baby. She seems concerned about what’s going on in my belly, but at times wants nothing to do with me. I’m concerned as well how she is going to be with the new baby girl. My beagle always needs attention from anyone and everyone so I hope she does good.

No experience with pure beagles but I have a puggle who seems to have more beagle traits and I think she’s going to be awesome with the baby. She’s such a sweetheart. 
I have a bad feeling about them having crying versus howling competitions though.  😂
