Belly measuring big??

Question

So I'm 29w5d. I went to my dr today and when they measured my belly they measured me at 33. I'm having another ultrasound in 2 weeks to monitor growth. I am so nervous she is going to be a huge baby!! Anyone else have experience with this??

I'm 28 weeks and measuring 30. My baby is breech and the dr said many times it's the way the baby is positioned that affects your measurement.

My stomach measured almost 5 weeks ahead. On the ultrasound, baby measured right on time and my fluid level was fine. Doc said many things could contribute...my torso length, baby position, weight.

My sister measured 3 weeks ahead of her due date and her baby was only 8lbs.

I'm 29 weeks and my baby boy has measured 2 weeks further along and I have had 2 growth ultrasounds..another is scheduled Monday..he is measuring long...I'm measuring 32 weeks but I'm not worried. My first son was 22 inches and 7lbs 9oz..I just make long babies..I'm measuring 5'9" and my hubby is 6'2"..no need to worry..good luck!!

Thanks for all the words of encouragement, ladies!! So happy I'm not alone in this. My husband was a 10 pound baby so I am so scared this one will be too. I have an ultrasound on the 13th so I will post back in here and let everyone know how I'm measuring then!

At 26 wks, my baby was measuring at 28 weeks. Now at 30 wks, he's right on. My OB said that growth spurts happen and then they catch up. Plus, it's extremely hard to get an accurate meaurement of the baby in the third trimester.

My Ob never says anything  when she measures my belly... how come u all know that and what percentile your baby is at..? Should I ask her? Shouldn't she be telling me?? I'm 27 weeks 5 days btw.

My mom assured me today that they always told her she measured big.  Her biggest baby was 7lb2oz, born on his due date.  She said not to fear this!

At 25 weeks I measured 27, at 28 I measured 34, and at 30 I measured 33.5, so they sent me for an ultrasound that day. My fluid level is fine, but baby girl is measuring big - in the 84th percentile. They said not to worry, we will continue to monitor, and it's likely she will not continue to grow at this rate.
