Usually they check for gbs at 35-36 weeks. My midwife doesn’t check for dilation unless we ask because it really is no indicator on when we will go into labor anyway. Baby will come when baby is ready.

I was tested for gbs at 35 weeks. Doctor also checked cervix at that time because she was already down there.

I think it depends on your doctor. With my first daughter they tested me at 38 weeks.

I asked mine to and she said sure Bc she was already down there and now at 37 weeks they will check to see if baby is head down and for any dilation thining etc
