NST ? Concern?

Question

Baby’s heart rate is high so they want me to do an NST right now. Should I be more concerned? Husband is having a mini panic attack at work and I have nothing to go on to help him out.

NSTs are no big deal, they just hook you up to a contraction monitor and a heart rate monitor and have you sit for 20 or 30 mins to keep an eye on baby's heart rate. They also give you a little button to push if you feel a movement. It's to make sure baby's heart rate increases appropriately with activity and decreases as they settle down. Good luck! Try not to stress over it mama! I have them weekly and as the commenter prior said, it’s just an easy way to make sure baby’s all good in there. You and baby will be just fine!💛
