My baby girl was born april 14th weighing 8lbs 6oz. She is EBF and at her 2 month appointment she was 11lbs 9oz. Essentially dropping from somewhere in the 80th percentile to somewhere in the 50th. The doctor wasnt too concerned but told me to go back in at 3 months instead of 4. Her appointment is next week and I weigh her on my home scale which I know isnt totally accurate but I dont think she is much more than 12lbs now. She is happy most of the time, sleeps 7 hour stretches at night and is very strong, has had very good neck control since way before 2 months and doesn't need any neck support while holding her now. I think I am producing more than enough milk for her and am wondering if she just isnt drinking enough or maybe she has a high metabolism like myself, I dont know if that is possible in babies?? I have been so worried about her weight the last month and now that her appointment is next week, I am even more stressed:/
