Daycare Expectation & Transition
I am struggling with leaving my LO at day care. I am giving myself this week to transition as I go back to work on 7/16. I think because I’ve only heard my baby cry really hard a couple times (very lucky) that going into the infant room and hearing a few babies crying is overwhelming to me.
Can anyone give guidance or advice in helping me remind myself that a crying baby isn’t the end of the world? Its hard to go from a 1:1 ratio to now 1 person handling 4 babies. It’s just so hard to not get so overwhelmed being in the room. I trust the caretakers as they have been doing this for so long but just need some guidance on this unsettling feeling.
I have this worry too that the crying could make my baby anxious and more fussy? But a bunch of the other babies were sleeping while others were crying so it seems that many of them are not phased.
I did some research on a nanny and we definitely can not afford that unfortunately.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!! ❤️
