Stroller seat goes completely flat is it okay?

Is it okay to let my baby sleep in it overnight? During the day sometimes I let him nap in his pram/stroller and it’s 3-4hr naps. Otherwise he’d sleep for 30 minutes during the day. We’re still having so much trouble at night, waking up 5-6x a night. I know he’d sleep in his stroller so I’m really thinking about letting him sleep there. We have a baby monitor that tracks his breathing,oxygen, and heart rate so will have that on. The seat goes completely flat like a bassinet too. Have any other moms used this method as a last resort?

I think that those oxygen monitors are so dangerous because it leads to this line of thinking, that we can put our babies in unsafe sleep situations since the monitor is on them. I would not count on an oxygen monitor like the owlet to tell me that my son had an oxygen saturation problem in time for me to fix it. Seconds count and if it was delayed in alerting me, if I didn’t wake to the alert, if it didn’t alert me at all, what then? It’s why I didn’t buy one, because it breeds too much comfort, and they aren’t recommended to prevent SIDS. Don’t let him sleep in the stroller like that. It hasn’t been safety tested for sleep. I totally get that you have to do what you have to do for naps sometimes, but if he will ONLY sleep in the stroller you’re gonna have to intervene somehow. Figure out what it is that he likes in the stroller and try to recreate it outside, or transfer him once he falls asleep. It sounds like he may have some night day confusion, 3-4 hours is a very long nap to have on a regular basis and that could be why he’s having so much trouble sleeping at night. Normally I say let baby sleep as much as they want whenever they want but if it’s leading to unsafe sleep habits, something needs to change. Good luck ❤️

First, I wouldn’t let him sleep in the stroller. Second, I wouldn’t let him take 3-4 hour naps during the day. My son can take 2 hour naps max and that’s not even every day. They won’t sleep at night if they get long stretches during the day.

I wouldn't, it's not meant for sleeping and doesn't pass the guidelines, plus he can roll over or get himself into a bad position.
