Has anyone ever had their gallbladder removed while pregnant? I’m 22 weeks and my doctor wants me to have surgery to get my it removed, because I’m not gaining any weight, I can’t eat and the baby isn’t getting enough nutrients without me eating. We found out about the gallstones and inflammation about a month ago and it’s not getting better. The general surgeon I met with told me if something happens to the baby during surgery he’s not strong enough to survive. My OBGYN told me today that the chances of anything happening to him are very small, but I’m still scared. He’s doing perfect right now and I’m so scared that something is going to happen to him and it will be my fault because I didn’t wait. Opinions? 😭
