How long was your labor when induced? And were you dilated any/effaced?

I’m going to be 39 + 4 when I get induced and I am already 3 cm dilated and 80 % effaced, (idk if I’m fully effaced yet I wasn’t told my last cervical exam) does this all mean my labor may not be that long?

I was 39 weeks. But I had preeclampsia. I was not in labor at all when induced. 12 hours + later I was only 2cm. My son heart rate was dripping. But not dangerous yet. Thought the doctor said that could change.  He said I could try to keep going for 12 more hours. My water had broke. Or do a c section.  I did a c section.  But everyone is different.

With my first, I was induced around 41 weeks and was fully effaced and dilated to about 2-3 but was not aware. I was in labor for about 12 hours. With my second, 5 years later, I was induced about 39 weeks 4 days and was not showing any signs of labor. I had my membranes stripped 2 times and the only progress I showed was just fully effaced. This time I was in labor for about 8 hours. Both times I was given pitocin and I had no pain medication. Seemed long but looking back it doesn’t seem that long. Once I saw my baby, I forgot about it all.

With my first I was induced at 42 weeks, I wasn’t dilated any. I went in at 12pm and it took till 2am till I was 4cm dilated. From then it took 6 hours till she was in my arms.

Mine was 2 days long . I was induced January 4 I didn’t have any contractions or anything and they were giving me Pitocin the whole time so they broke my water the fifth at around 10 PM and then I started getting contractions I was dilated at a six for three hours and had to get a C-section
