Extremely clingy

Has anyone’s baby suddenly become extremely clingy? My son is starting to act like he has some separation anxiety. He barely lets me put him down and you can forget it if I walk away from him. He follows me around and is pulling on my legs as I’m doing things. Sometimes I don’t mind that he wants me to hold him and play with him, but when it comes to getting ready in the mornings and making dinner, it becomes a huge hassle.

He never cries when I leave him with the sitter, it’s only when we’re at home.
