If you’re asking about gender then I’ve never heard of a false result, but as far as chromosomal abnormalities they give you a percentage, so there’s always a chance that your baby may or may not have an issue regardless of the percentage. The only way to know for sure if your baby has Downs or another trisomy is by doing something more invasive such as CVS, amniocentesis, etc. However, if your NIPT came back with a 1/10,000 chance for everything then I think it’s safe to say your baby is healthy.

I voted accurate in terms of gender results. Nipt is not diagnostic for chromosomal conditions and i havent yet had anything diagnostic ( amnio, cvs, ) to confirm those results.
