Queen Fanfic (Part 1)

H

I’m gonna make this a lengthy fanfic so beware and this is going to be your favorite thing if you love Queen. I’m planning on giving all characters equal time because I feel like some are underrated (Deaky). Hope you enjoy! Also, this is the only place I have to express my love for Queen.

John Deacon tapped his foot quickly against the marbled floor. Biting the inside of his cheek, John flicked his eyes back and forth from the clock to the door. “He should be here by now.” John mumbled to Brian May who sat beside him on the leather couch. “Just,” Brian hesitated then spoke. “Give him a few more minutes.” Brian turned to Roger Taylor, who sat in a separate chair across from the two. Brian shook his head, just as the three looked up to Freddie Mercury walking in. Freddie looked around as if he was unamused at the lack of decorations that sat in the room. “Took you long enough,” Roger muttered from his chair and he exhaled deeply. John stood up, in which Brian followed. “Are you going to show us or...” John nodded his head to the sketchbook that was held in Freddie’s hand. “Patience darling.” Roger stood up and hurried to the other three. Freddie continued and he opened the book and flipped through its thin pages. The room was dead silent. “Queen.” With one word he flipped the page to an intricate logo. Brian studied the phoenix, the pixies, the lions, and the crabs. “Our astrological signs?” Brian asked twisting his eyebrow to a furrowed position, and grabbing the sketch to study it himself. “Well I didn’t want to make it too easy to figure out.” Freddie replied raising his chin. Brian and Roger let out a soft chuckle. “You really hit it on the head with this one Fred. Really. “ Roger looked up to Freddie. “Who needs smiles when you’ve got queens?” Freddie laughed to his own joke, and looked for the others delayed reactions. Brian glanced over to Roger who stared back at him. “We’re going to go somewhere guys. I don’t know where, but we’re going.” John adds in. “We are.” Brian commented as well. Roger nodded and Freddie smirked. Grabbing four drinks and turning back around to the others to pass them out, Freddie held up his glass high in the air. “To Queen.”
