Fmla and the bullshit my husbands work deals

My husband works for a company that is starting to go downhill after being on of the top employers in our area.

They’re taking away incentives, raising insurance costs while lowering what they cover, they took away shift differential and Sunday premiums etc.

So, earlier this year, our six year old started showing symptoms of asthma. Being in kindergarten amped it up with having sick kids around her during the winter months. In February, she developed the flu which sent her respiratory system into panic and she had to be hospitalized (his insurance only covering $40 of the stay) and he had to take a day of fmla twice, once that day, and once a few weeks after when she had an attack at school.

They’ve been pointing his attendance record and taking away vacation days away we discovered.

Pointing under fmla ...which is to protect his employment.

I understand taking pto from him to pay him, or even not paying him for those two days, but they also pointed him which is the entire reason they had us file fmla.

Livid as allllll hell.
