Did my water break??

Question

37 weeks. FTM, not sure if my water broke. 5 days ago I was 3 cm dilated and I’ve been having contractions for 4 days. My husband and I just had sex and afterward I went pee twice, and showered, and then a small gush of clear fluid leaked out of me into the floor. It was all clear, no pink tint🤷🏻‍♀️
UPDATE:
Had another gush this morning, decided to go in. It was my water!! About to be checked again to see if I’m progressing, if not then a little pitocin for me!

It doesn’t have to have blood in it to be fluid I would go to l&d and get it tested that happened to my sister in law early Monday morning she had a trickle of fluid come out no contractions or blood or anything  and she had her baby Monday night

At 38 weeks with my last baby it started like that small amount of fluid coming out, I being my crazy self start googling everything so Someone say lay down for 30 minutes with a clean pad and then stand up if it keep coming out is because your water is breaking. So I did this I lay down and when I get up to use the bathroom !!surprised !!! My water broke and this ocean of water came down on me! FYI: I didn't have any contractions until they induced me in the hospital.

Lay down for like a half
Hour, if more liquid comes out I would go in to the hospital

I would wait to see if more fluid comes ot and if you can time your contractions.   With my first I thought I was just peeing my pants when my water first broke.

Mine wasn’t a huge amount of amniotic fluid, my water ruptured but didn’t fully break, I was admitted into the hospital later that day in full blown labor.

My doctor has told me if I have any sort of gush of fluid this late in the game to call them. If your water breaks you never wait to get contractions then go to the hospital. If your water breaks (or you think it does) you always go to the hospital. Worst case they swab you and it’s not your water. Better safe than sorry I think.
