Did you feel the spark instantly

For the people that are in love. Did you feel the spark/butterflies the first time you meet them, hung out, or when on ya first date with them?

I had met him a few times before, breifly, and didnt like him very much. The first time we hung out at a party it was a spark as soon as we saw each other.

I met my husband online. We met in person a month later and right away I liked him. Our 2nd date I wasn’t too sure but then I gave him one more chance and that’s when I knew I really liked him! It doesn’t happen right away all the time and that’s ok. We’re going on 4 years this month and I still get butterflies! When he texts me he’s on his way home I just get so excited to see him! Or when we go on dates I feel like young kids in love lol

I could. not. stand. my husband when I first met him. (Granted he was, and still is, super HOT so that was some sort of spark but the problem was he KNEW how hot he was and he was mostly a dick about it).
He was super cocky and arrogant. Loud, overbearing and had a perfection complex. Thought he was God’s gift to the world as the saying goes. But I had to work with him so I made the best of it. Then we started legitimately talking more and i saw that the arrogance was a front because he didn’t like getting super close to people.  We worked really well together. Balanced one another out. Our boss started putting us on the same shifts all the time so we could do projects together because we were a great team. So he started picking me up and dropping me off. Then we’re hanging out after work. Then we’re hanging out on days off. Then I’m meeting his family and babysitting his nephew...
He grew on me. He’s still all arrogant but I just smile and nod because I know the truth. But it wasn’t some instantaneous thing for us. It developed over time. (Although according to him I was just so overwhelmed by his handsomeness that I had to deny it at first as a defense mechanism 🙄)

Me and my husband never had a first date till a year almost 2 years late it complicated. But the first time we kissed oh yeah i felt a spark a spark so strong i have never felt this before my whole life. I feel it was meant to be.

Yes. I talked to my man on tinder (yikes I know) for two months before he came  home from where he was being stationed for the army. Turns out his parents live 30 mins away from me and he lived at that house before he went into the army. He came home in May. We met at the airport and I immediately got those butterflies. We stayed together every night until he left to his new area where he would be stationed. By the end of May (right before he left) we got engaged. I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life with him. We get married in September and the day after our wedding we both leave and move to Louisiana where he’s stationed right now.
