I do think 6 weeks can be early to hear the heartbeat. I am 100% positive when my husband and I conceived our son (the date), but I obviously don’t know when the sperm met the egg and implantation happened. I was surprised when my EDD was like 5 days later. At 6 weeks, that can change a lot! I had a few early scans because I had recently had an ectopic pregnancy, and we didn’t see a heartbeat until my 7 or 8 week scan. My son is totally healthy. I ended up not fighting my insurance company to approve an early scan with my daughter this time (OB wanted it bc of my previous ectopic) because it can be hard to see much of anything so early on. Try not to worry too much right now, and hopefully you see that heartbeat next week!

6 weeks is pretty early to hear a heartbeat. When I was 10 weeks, they weren’t sure if they’d be able to hear anything. I would definitely go back and check to see what they say before doing anything. Babies can be a few days ahead or behind with growth. Praying it’s a miracle for you!! 💗
