Pregnancy acne! Y’all, I’ve never had this issue. Even with my first baby it was not this bad. Doc said no salicylic acid but that benzoyl peroxide was okay. Has anyone found something that works? My face is just PAINFUL. Help!

Try drinking dandelion root and milk thistle tea.  One cup of each a day.  Treating the skin isn’t going to do much because it’s hormonal so coming from the inside.  Dandelion root and milk thistle help your liver to process the excess hormones in a healthy way.  Definitely witch hazel to help calm the skin though.

I have never heard not to use salicylic acid while pregnant. I know I used it the entire time I was. 
This combo is pretty effective... but this face wash has salicylic acid. You’re gonna have a hard time finding effective face wash with out it, unless you go the MLM route like R +F.

I’ve been using cerave face wash and witch hazel toner. Calms it down. But doesn’t go away.
