First response vs. digital

I took a first response test today that had a very faint line. I got so excited , told hubby and my mom tonight. I took a digital one to clarify this evening and it said no. My period is originally due in 3 days. Could the cause be because I’m still early?! Im a little bummed, and confused? Here is a picture of my first response this morning
