Inducing labor stories???

I’m a first time mom and I am getting induced on Monday and I just wanna read some stories of anyone’s experience with being induced and how long it took for active labor to begin to help calm my nerves!

On the 15\07/18 
I was induced at 37 weeks, as I was told my daughter was small
At 12pm I had a shot of jel to soften my cervix 
At 6pm they broke my waters 
From 6pm-9pm i went to 2cm 
And then from 9pm-4am i stayed at 3 and a half Cm 
I was connected to machines to monitor baby’s heartbeat 
I asked the midwife for pethadine, as she went to get the pethadine the machine started to bleep, because baby’s heart rate dropped. The midwife came in and rushed me down to surgery at 4:20am I arrived at surgery and then by 4:49am on the 16th November I had my baby girl in my arms!

When I was induced my body was not ready at all so it took 36 hours before finally I was able to push my baby girl out.

My labor lasted 29 hours with 4 hours of pushing. I was a centimeter dilated so they put they foley bulb in and spill in my vagina to soften my cervix and make me have contractions. That was rough because I couldnt sit down, and they didn’t start all that until 9 pm so I was pretty tired. It took about 4 hours for them to be able to pull it out, and then I had very little pain and was able to sit and eventually took a nap.
They started my pitocin after the foley bulb was out and increased it by two units an hour, but I stayed at 5 centimeters for 10 hours so they had to break my water. After that it got real intense real quick. I ended up getting an epidural after a few hours because I couldn’t stand the pain on my cervix. I think it was extra bad because it was super sensitive from being messed with so much. But after the epidural I was able to rest, and I was at 8 centimeters. 
I pushed for four hours but ended up needing a c section because his head was stuck behind my pubic bone, but I honestly loved being in labor. It was my favorite part of pregnancy.
It sounds long, but it really went quickly in my head. I was always surprised when I would look at the clock or be told how long it had been. It was definitely worth it and I’m glad I chose to be induced.

I was at 0 cm dilated when I went in to be induced. I had the cervadil inserted and dilated to about 1cm after 12 hours. They started me up on pitocin and within 2 hours, I was at 4 cm. I ended up having an emergency c section due to distress on my baby’s part

I was given a foley balloon to get me to 5cm, then started pitocin. My body was already starting the process by itself so the pitocin was just giving me a little push. I was in early labor at 8am, Foley balloon placed at 5pm, pitocin started at 9pm, epidural (didn’t work) placed at 2am, water broken at 7am, delivered at 8am. I didn’t have any negative reactions to the pitocin or epidural.

I was in labor for 30 hours after being induced 🤷🏻‍♀️ my body had a bad reaction to the induction drug and my cervix ended up swelling shut after previously reaching 8cm. My induction story is basically a horror story 🤦🏻‍♀️ however, two ladies due a little after me in my friend groups were also induced & they both had the smoothest deliveries! One had a 11 hour labor, the other was there for maybe three hours and only had to push once and boom baby. It all depends on your body, how ready for labor it is, & how attentive your doctors are for how yours will go! Everyone’s experience is one of a kind
