How to heal broken nail faster

I grow my natural nails out pretty long and yesterday one broke all the way off in the flesh of my nail bed and it’s just exposed skin and raw. Idk what to do cus if anything touches it it hurts like hell. I cut the rest of them down so how long before I can just put acrylics over it?
