Running question

Hey ladies! I have been doing pretty well with keeping up with my running (a few times a week 4-8 miles) but the last two times I ran I started having some cramps and needed to stop. I obviously don’t want to do anything to hurt the baby but I’m wondering if this is the end for me until after he comes? Or could baby just be positioned in a bad spot these past couple days? Anyone else experience this then go on to continue running? I was hoping to keep it up further along in my pregnancy I’m 28 weeks now!
