1 cm dilated

Im currently 33 weeks pregnant and I've been having Braxton hicks contractions for weeks that are very frequent sometimes more then 12 an hour some a few mins apart some only seconds but not usually evenly spaced. Two days ago I checked my cervix and it's very soft and slightly dilated. Should I be worried? I've been a little paranoid throughout this pregnancy due to a previous miscarriage and I feel crazy bothering the doctor for every little thing and anytime I talk to my family they tend to brush me off and say I need to stop worrying. What do you guys think?
