Im 18 and I’m about to switch from the copper iud to a hormonal one but I don’t know which one to choose, I’m very worried about the amount of hormones that will be released into my body.

Before the copper iud I used the pill and the implant that goes in your arm, both were too much for my body to handle (I was 13 on the pill and 14 with the implant) I would have horrible anger outbursts and in general just horrible mood swings.

I know that the skyla has less hormones than the kyleena but I requested the kyleena because it lasts longer. I would love your opinions because I’m feeling very lost and confused about which one to get. I don’t want to be too hormonal. Could my age and puberty have something to do with it?
