UPDATE: i went to a highly recommended shop near me and the guy was great at communicating to me about what the problem was. he said in fact that the plastic bar is for people who don’t know if the holes will be straight and can use the plastic bc it bends. he wanted to put a metal one in, but after taking the plastic one out he noticed that the holes where not at an angle and more up and down and it was done wrong. if he were to put the bar in it would never heal and be a lot of pressure on the hole and hurt it more. he took the bar out and told me to clean it once it heals if i want it again i can get it but not to go back to that shop.

I got my industrial pierced friday evening, had no bleeding just soreness, saturday evening i was sitting on the couch and accidentally tapped it not even hard and it stated to bleed. now it won’t stop, it’s not gushing but i’ve woken up the last 2 nights now to my ear being covered in blood. i tried to call the shop yesterday but they didn’t answer. what can i do? i don’t want to take it out but when is the bleeding going to stop? the picture below is how it was yesterday on my way home from work RIGHT after i cleaned it.
