I need help finding sources that give statistics about abortion

Alexis

I need anyone's help with this dilemma I'm in. I posted this on Facebook.

A person comment this in regards to the picture.

"Respectfully, this is is a ridiculous post. Even the most extreme abortion laws in Alabama do not prohibit abortion if the life of the mother is on the line. “Life” is different than the ludicrous reasons of the baby “not having a good life”, as if someone else is able to determine how much someone else’s life is worth or someone attempting to rank a subjective thing such as life itself.

That’s slander and virtue signaling and a poor attempt at that.

The first three are all inaccurate and the 4th is ridiculous. Yes, pro-lifers such as myself believe that a woman should carry out a pregnancy in rape circumstances (although we do believe that the woman should pick the fate of the rapist, whether that be castration or killing if he is proved guilty) because the baby is still innocent. Much more innocent than you or I or anybody else. Also, why would the daughter try to attempt to have an at home abortion? That’s as stupid of a decision that one could make. She still has the choice to drive to a different state where she can have a legal abortion performed.

I agree about the male part though. That’s societal and not legislative, however.

Sex should no longer be treated as a mutual transaction between two parties with no second thought or regrets. That’s how we get into trouble. There’s also birth control and condoms and Plan B. Stop the pregnancy before it begins.

It’s also worth noting that nationwide, 92-96% of all abortions performed are due to convenience of the mother/family unit.

Secondly, women make up 65% of the voter base on average so the state officials that make these laws were voted in by women, statistically speaking."

I know my facts about why this guy is wrong but I want to find good statistical sources that show that what is stated is incorrect. I can't just let this sit here unanswered and have him think he won. How would you respond to this? Do you have sources to refute his claims?
