Baby is pushing all your guts up, in turn making your stomach smaller & causing acid to reach your esophagus easier. I had horrible heartburn in the 3rd trimester. 🔥🔥🔥

Heartburn is caused by a hormone released in our bodies that relaxes the esophagus which allows acid to flow back up. 
If it were linked with hair, then my baby should be pretty hairy coming out. Lol.

had awful heartburn with both pregnancies. give birth to a girl who had no hair, and later gave birth to a boy with lots of hair. heartburn is just a symptom of pregnancy and that’s it.

It’s not the hair thing. My daughter had so much hair we could see it on our 36 week ultrasound, and yet I had no heartburn with her
