So today I’m going to get tested for herpes and ask for a blood test. But, I’ve heard that the blood test can be pretty inaccurate. I don’t want to go get it done and still be worried that the test is inaccurate.

I haven’t had any lesions or anything like that. I’ve just had some burning and a bit of itching after a couple of rounds of antibiotics. I also had an ingrown hair that went away in like 2-3 days but I was worried about it.

Should I still ask for the blood test or just not since I didn’t have any symptoms? I’ve been tested for chlamydia, trich, and gonnorrhea which all came back negative.

I did too much research and now I’m nervous.
