My boyfriend and I have been together almost two years but we have known each other since we were kids. We started talking through FB and ended up getting into a relationship. Once in a relationship he started to talk about how he hates social media (which I found funny since we started talking through FB) and wanted us to both get rid of it. I was not for it at all, being as though I’m a home body I don’t go out, I don’t party, so I feel like I stay socially aware of things by FB. He said if I got rid of FB I could keep my Snapchat so I said ok fine. Got rid of my FB and then a week later he told me to get rid of my Snapchat as well and if I didn’t do it then I was picking Social Media over him. I did end up getting rid of everything but now we are about to have a baby and I’m wanting to share these moments with family and friends and he is NOT FOR IT! He gets so upset with me if I get on Social Media, won’t talk to me for days, yells, basically flips out. I personally don’t think it’s they damn serious, not to mention I’ve told him it’s things I want him not to do anymore yet he still does it. I’m just venting but I hate that controlling shit especially when I’m not doing anything sneaky or wrong. I don’t even have messenger so anything said to me on FB would have to be said publicly and I even gave him the passwords for all my stuff. He working my nerves
