Which priority comes first your marriage/partnership or your child/children ?

In the day to day, our children come first. But I made a promise to myself to put my marriage first. I really believe that marriage is part of the foundation to child rearing.  I need to be able to care for myself and my spouse in Order to be an effective and “good” mother. My children are also observing our marriage and I want to put a good example there of what love looks like. I can love my children fiercely but they’re looking to my marriage for guidance.

My husband and I try to stick with the view of our first individual priority is each other and our joint first priority is to any children in our care. 
I try to make sure he’s taken care of, he likewise tries to ensure he’s doing all he can to have me feel supported and together our focus is on the wellbeing and needs of our children and any others in our care

Your spouse. You met him first grew with him first. Then your children.
you both have to raise them and discipline together and thats when your spouses and your priority should be your children 
But when they grow and move out it’s your spouse & you all over again, one flesh. Your kids grow up and leave to make their own families

Kids. I love my hubby but my kids are my first and foremost priority. If my hubby were to beat the kids because they annoy him or some excuse like that best believe I'm taking the kids and going regardless of the fact it was me and him first (sort, I was pregnant with my oldest when we met). Thankfully he isnt like that but just an example.

I take the "wants vs needs" approach...if the kids just "want" something and the hubby "needs" something then hubby comes first...and vice versa...no ones wants should ever come before someone elses needs...even if it's your own...self care is essential and is easy to forget when caring for kids and spouse...
When it comes to any family disagreements...I stand by my husband no matter what...2 reasons...first if he's actually wrong I put the united front up while in the room with the kids then tell him behind closed doors that I disagreed with him...second when the kids are all grown and moved out the one that will be there will be him...
These are things we have talked about and are in mutual agreement about...it's also all valuable for us to teach our children...especially with maintaining healthy relationships
