So I had to take my 3 hour Glucose test today because I failed the first. My doctor gave me specific instructions to not eat or drink sugary drinks past midnight, and not to eat breakfast just to come in at 8:30 to take the test and then eat after. So I didn’t eat past dinner and I only drink water until midnight. When I got up this morning, I didn’t eat or drink anything, however I did have the tiniest sip of water to take medicine (I have Hyperemesis Gravidarum and have to take Zofran 3x a day to not throw up). I didn’t want to puke during the test because I knew that would make me fail or I would have to take it again. I really do mean the tiniest sip, like my water bottle didn’t even look like it had been opened. The nurse never said anything about water, just sugary drinks, but I didn’t drink any more just in case it would effect anything. I went in and the nurse told me we had to reschedule because I took that tiny sip of water. I had to drag my kids out of bed, I had to have my friend wake up super early to meet me there to help with the kids. And now I have to do it all over again tomorrow. Ughhhhh
