I’m 17 and I’ve been off and on wanting a nose piercing for the longest time. I recently got my cartilage pierced out of the blue and ever since then my need for a nose piercing has gone way up haha. Now I’m in love with them and want to get it next month after my senior pictures. My dad is not a fan of piercings or tattoos. He doesn’t care too much about my ears but I know he will hate this one. I had my mom go with me to get my cartilage done because I knew he wouldn’t go anyways so I just told him I was going to meet her and get it done. However I don’t know how to bring up the nose piercing because I know for a fact he will hate this one. My whole family will probably hate it because they are all anti piercing and tattoo, but it’s my body in the end. Also I would have to take it out for my future career so if anyone has taken theirs out and snapped a pic I would appreciating seeing how to hole looks with no jewelry in. Also if I ever wanted to take it out forever would the hole eventually close up or be there forever?
