So this is my first child and his third. His children from his ex wife are 9 and 11. I can’t help but feel cheated that I won’t get all the same feelings he had with his first 2 when our baby arrives. He already doesn’t show much excitement or feeling towards my pregnancy.

When I told him I was pregnant, he thought I was joking... not in a funny way. And now we are having issues with his ex wife and how we’re going to split custody with his 2 other kids.

We had a group message about it and she made me feel so disrespected by saying my pregnancy has nothing to do with how we’re splitting time with the boys... YET she is saying we have to follow the schedule she and her new husband have with his ex wife. I only made a simple request that we take all participants in consideration now. And now she’s bringing up ridiculous accusations about me walking all over her and telling her how things are going to be done. I DONT UNDERSTAND WHERE SHE IS GETTING THAT IDEA!! My boyfriend even told her we just want to get it all covered before the baby comes to avoid having to do it again once baby is here.

My boyfriends ex gf treated his kids like shit so I feel like she’s just trying to make us sit up because he is actually with someone who gives a shit about her kids.

I’m not sure how to handle this and at times I feel like he sides with her. And no where in their decree are her new husbands kids mentioned once.

What do I do?
