Same thing happened with my bf and I we rushed things bad the First time: he lived with me before we started dating sharing a bed and room too, got engaged a month after being officially together. But we have been best friends for 10years (throughout school) and are 22 now. We broke up and eventually realized we were the one for each other and got back again. When we broke up I still would talk to him even if he didn’t want me to or even if he didn’t respond and just truly let him know how I felt about him and told him have a good day and what not.
