Bleeding...normal or not?

I'm 6w2d and today for the first time I started bleeding. My stomach was cramping and I felt like something was wrong so I went to the restroom and sure enough there was blood when I wiped (it was brownish). I looked and saw a clot in the water when I got up. 
Then I went shortly after and more bleeding, this time red. Went again a few different times and still the same thing.

I know implantation bleeding can happen but I haven't bled at all until now. Is this normal or am I possibly having a miscarriage? Your help is much appreciated...😔

You should go to the doctor. Implantation bleeding happens when the embryo implants, not at 6 weeks. Clots and bright red blood are a sign that you should see your doc asap

So...it was in fact a miscarriage. I went to the ER yesterday after work because the bleeding wouldn't stop, it's still happening...this is such a terrible feeling. 💔

It could be nothing serious but I don't think it's implantation bleeding, you're too far along for it to be that and it's usual a very small amount of blood. Some women do bleed during pregnancy though.

I had spotting week 7 to 11 and now he's a 8 day old lil cutie

I had a subchorionic hematoma which caused that sort of bleeding, huge clots and floods of bleeding. See your doctor for sure however something that helped me while I waited was I was told that you can dissolve your clots in water to check. Even though the clots looked and felt solid and I thought they were tissue (like liver almost) they would dissolve. Later I did have an unrelated miscarriage and the tissue was completely different. Light pink to white and did not dissolve.

My friend has bleed bright red and clots and her baby is fine! I would try and see a Dr though just to be safe! Hopefully it's calmed down now and your okay! My thoughts are with you!

Implantation happens like around week 4 so since your 6 weeks, its not implantation. I say u should call the doctor especially since you are seeing clots!

Call your doctor or go to ER.  I don't think  you would see clots with implantation.

You should immediately consult your doctor, just one or two spotting is ok.. But more than that can be risky!
