Acupuncture for induction?

I'm 37+5 and have been seeing a prenatal acupuncturist for the past few weeks, and today at my appt she mentioned that after 39 weeks she offers induction treatments that usually can start labor in 3-4 hours for her clients if they're already dilated and/or effaced. Sounds like a pretty great backup plan to me... Has anyone else had any experience with being induced with acupuncture??
