A little worried

So I went to the dentist about two, three days ago. & I had a deep clean done. The process was a bit painful. & My son was reacting the times I was in pain. Kicking and moving. Ever since my dentist visit. I haven't really felt him kick. I mean obviously I feel movements and all, but I just don't feel him kick really. & When he did kick, they were pretty hard , so hard to miss . I don't know if something is going on cos I still do feel him, just not kicking. Does anyone know how me being in pain affects the baby? Calling my ob after lunch. 25 weeks. Just wanted to know if anyone else has felt this before.
