Anyone NOT dilated yet?

38 weeks 2 days and no dilation or effacement. I keep seeing posts of everyone being dilated and am jealous! Is it normal to not be dilated at all yet?

Doesn't mean anything!  Some women walk around for weeks with some dilation/effacement, others will have it all happen the day of labor. Even your baby dropping and being engaged in the pelvis can happen in early labor 😃 my midwife doesn't even bother w cervical checks for this reason.

It's normal. I wasn't dilated with my first. Barely 1 with my second at 40w but happy to say I'm 2cm as of last Monday and I'm being induced tonight.

38+4 and 0 dialated 0 effaced 0 thinned and he hasn't dropped a centimeter  don't worry you're not the only one 😕

Totally normal. I'm 36+4 with my 3rd child and not dilated at all.

I'm 38 weeks and 4 days and I'm still not dilated either 😭

It's totally normal. I'm currently 36w 4d with my 3rd baby & my dr checked me this morning- not dilated yet & baby is still up at -4. Those things can change pretty quickly, so I wouldn't worry about it. 😊
