How early can an obgyn tell if you’re pregnant?

I have an upcoming obgyn appointment in about two weeks. My husband and I are trying for our second baby and I am ovulating all this week. I’m going in for an annual Pap smear but what if I get pregnant and don’t know that I am. Would a pap smear be safe that early on? I know this is just a bunch of what ifs and it would be SUPER early. But I just want to make sure I am taking the necessary precautions.

I was about 6 weeks along and had a pap smear. The Dr knew I was pregnant and said it was fine.

They do Pap smears during pregnancy. It’s routine so I doubt it would hurt your baby. If you are concerned just bring it up to them.

You would barely be pregnant 2 weeks after you ovulate.
A Pap test isn’t going to do anything and they most likely wouldn’t be able to tell if you’re pregnant that early.
