Plus size and normal.delivery? I have people telling me I will have a caesarian cos I'm Plus size. Based on your experience what are the chances for normal delivery ?

I think every body is different. My sister is plus size and has had 2 normal vaginal 
Deliveries  while I had to have an emergency c section @ 34 weeks. Just because we are fat doesn’t mean our bodies are not capable of birth. Don’t let anyone bully you into a c section unless it is legitimately about the health of your baby.

It really depends on where in the world you are and how side friendly your care providers are. I’m 275.
My first I had a midwife I didn’t know as mine was delivering another baby. She stuffed my induction, baby didn’t like it, he was born via a cat A ceaser.
My second I went through an antenatal clinic and had my induction booked. Fully expected to have a cesarean but ended up with the VBAC I wanted. 💙 
Find a practioner who doesn’t care about your weight and a decent support network and you will be fineS

I was 240 with my first and had my daughter vaginally. 
OB told me yesterday because of new studies they will induce at 39w with twice weekly appts with L&D starting at 36w.

I go to a midwife and it has never been mentioned once that I’d have a higher risk of csection because of my size. It may depend on each persons actual size and weight though. I’ve had a completely healthy uncomplicated pregnancy and am all set to have an unmedicated water birth😊 for reference I started out 195lbs and am currently 250lbs and 38 weeks (I’ve gained a lot of weight😭)
